…We went ahead and arranged some outreach meetings in the Rancho Cordova neighborhood. It was climaxed with a Rock the Block meeting in our church (House of Glory) on the 17th of January 2009.
What started with a dream, became hope and I saw the promise right in my own eyes. We saw hundreds of different cultures and backgrounds especially the youths in the neighbor-hood attend the meeting. It was a big success as one person gave her life to the Lord, some were healed, and hundreds were fed with the Word and barbeque. Hotdogs were in plenty. We had more than we needed.Rancho Cordova was shaken for Christ.
Surely there is hope; the reality of the future church of Christ lies in such organization like the Rock the Block, Ca. We are looking forward to even more bigger ministry engagements with them in future.

Several months ago I had an opportunity to meet Dean Johnson and Kristina Neill, I had no idea that the relationship would blossom into such an outstanding outreach ministry project, Rock-the-Block, for our community.
The Rock-the-Block ministry team of Dean Johnson, Kristina Neill and Natalie Moore were instrumental in assisting with the organization and planning of this glorious event. These young people were fired up soldiers of the cross. They promised the leadership of our three congregations at Central International Fellowship that they would be able be bring a high energy, spirit filled event to our church and the surrounding community that would in one night attract hundreds of unchurched individuals while presenting the life changing message of Jesus Christ. They honored their promise! We easily reached between seven hundred and a thousand people that night. Many responded to the altar call by Dean Johnson and by the end of the night I held in my hands over two hundred prayer requests and contact slips of individuals who lived in our community and the surrounding area.
One young man that I personally lead to Christ that night was moved just by the notion that God has a plan for his life and that the only reason he lacked direction is because he did not have a relationship with the Planner, needless to say, he has that relationship today thanks to the ministry of Rock-the-Block.
I would invite any church when presented with an opportunity to partner with the Rock-the- Block Team to do so. We have truly been blessed by the experience.
